Record attendance for BRA meeting
A recent British Refrigeration Association (BRA) meeting saw a record attendance of 47 people, necessitating a move from our own Hare Hatch conference room to larger premises at the Holiday Inn, Maidenhead.
The BRA Equipment and Components Section was joined by members of the FETA A2L Working Group to hear a presentation on Risk Assessment by Kelvin Kelly of Business Edge. This is a subject which is being widely discussed within the RACHP industry, and the relevance is clear from the high attendance at the meeting. A very informative presentation was followed by a lively Q&A session. Feedback from attendees was very positive, with many having a much clearer view of where and when Risk Assessment applies.
It is the intention of the BRA to formulate some guidance on Risk Assessments, which should be available in the autumn.
The FETA A2L group will also be running a workshop during the IIR HFO Conference to be held in Birmingham in September.
