Lifetime Achievement Award for Tom Dee
At the recent Heating and Ventilating Review Awards, long serving HEVAC member, Tom Dee of Johnson and Starley, was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Tom has been in the industry since 1965, and since 2001 he has been Technical Director of Johnson and Starley, responsible for R&D, after sales service, quality and health & safety.
Tom has been involved in the development of warm air standards in the UK and Europe since 1998 and has been responsible for chairing a number of committees representing UK manufacturers in this capacity. He has also worked very closely with government on the development of Building Regulations and the adoption of European product legislation into the UK.
His knowledge of warm air and ventilation is highly regarded throughout the industry and he has always been ready to get involved for the greater good.
Within HEVAC, he is a past Chairman of the Residential Ventilation Association and member of HEVAC Council.
