Kevin Glass to be next IoR President

Bitzer UK MD Kevin Glass will be the next president of the Institute of Refrigeration after his nomination passed unopposed.  Glass was proposed by the IoR’s executive council in July from a list of 15 potential candidates. As no other nominations have been put forward by the membership there will be no ballot this year.

He is expected to be formally appointed on November 2 and will support the existing president, Steve Gill, until his term of office ends in November 2018.

Kevin Glass has been with Bitzer UK for over 30 years, the last six as managing director, following a wide ranging career in the RAC industry.

As well as his involvement with the IoR, Kevin is a stalwart of the BRA's Equipment and Components section.
