FMA appoints Alan Macklin as their new chairman

On 6^th October, at a full capacity meeting of the Fan Manufacturers Association, Alan Macklin of Elta Group Ltd, took over as chairman for the next two year period.  Outgoing chairman Mark Jones of Woodcock & Wilson Ltd, seen here on the right of the picture, wished Alan well in the new post.  Alan paid tribute to the work Mark had done over his six years as chairman during which time he had championed the cause to raise levels of compliance with the ATEX Directive for fans used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
