BRA launches new guide to Temperature Glide
The British Refrigeration Association (BRA) has launched another in its series of Fact Finders on the subject of temperature glide. The guide gives an overview of the practicalities involved in handling refrigerants with this characteristic, and in particular highlights some of the currently available alternatives to R404A. It is vital for the optimal performance of a system, to take into account the temperature glide of the refrigerant. Almost all newly developed refrigerant blends will exhibit this property, so it is important for the industry to understand how to use them effectively.
