AEME and BSB announce landmark training success

The first candidates to complete the AEME Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) approved Inspection and Testing of Fire and Smoke Dampers course are now ready to help improve industry standards.

After passing the course examination, the candidates are qualified to carry out a full inspection and test procedure, verifying that units are fully functional, whilst reporting any faults and necessary improvements in an unbiased manner.

Peter Reid, Principle Lecturer and Fellow Institute of Consulting (FIC), commented: “We are so proud to yet again lead the industry in this field and are very grateful that James Turley, Managing Director at BSB, gave so much material and technical help to enable us to qualify for NI CITB registration.

“We look forward to training many more candidates on recognised courses at our CITB training centre.”
