12th IEA Heat Pump Conference

The 12^th IEA Heat Pump Conference took place in Rotterdam in May. The recently released issue of the HPT Magazine summarises some of the numerous sessions, Workshops, Award ceremonies, and presentations given at the Conference.

In the Foreword, the Chairman of the National Organizing Committee, Onno Kleefkens, gives his view of the Conference. Then, there are two different presentations from the Opening sessions, with very different subjects. The Workshops of the Conference were centred around the central work within the HPT TCP (Technology Collaboration Programme on Heat Pumping Technologies), and six of the Workshops are summarised by their Chairmen in this issue. There were four Awards at the Conference, they are all presented here. Also, three personal accounts from Conference participants are provided, each with their own selection of presentations.
